Jasmine delivered five healthy puppies (one girl and four boys) on Thursday, October 19, 2017. I have not committed to new homes yet, but will be taking deposits for three of the boys in the next week or two. Feel free to submit a puppy application if you are interested in a male puppy from this litter. Pick male puppy may be available. Please fill out my puppy application if you are interested in a show puppy. Everything is going extremely well with this litter and Jasmine is doing great, so we are planning her third and final litter in Summer 2018.

Jasmine second litter is due October 17, 2017 and she is obviously pregnant.  I won’t know the exactly how many puppies she’s having until she’s X-rayed on October 10th.    I’ve been busy getting the puppy room ready since we have not had a litter in two years.  If you are interested in a puppy from this litter, you can find out more info about this litter and read about the sire, Gabe on my Puppies page.  Fill out my online application to be considered for a puppy from this upcoming litter.

Male Versus Female Puppies

Tuesday, September 8th, 2015

Most puppy buyers have a preference for a certain gender of puppy.  Usually this preference is based on past experiences or what they’ve heard about one gender or the other so I wanted to give perspective buyers my thoughts on both genders.

Many people believe that female dogs are sweeter than males.  This is typically not true.  Most welshies no matter which gender you get love to cuddle, but there are exceptions to this rule.  Even if they don’t love to snuggle with people, all welshies want to stick close to their owners.  All welshies have different temperaments just like people.  Some are more mellow and easy going and others are very active and will find trouble if you don’t keep them busy and it really has nothing to do with gender.  That’s why it’s important to discuss your lifestyle and activity level with your breeder so they can pick out the perfect puppy for you.

What Responsible Breeders Really Do

Wednesday, December 11th, 2013

The Golden Retriever Club of America produced this new video to explain what responsible breeders really do. “Responsible dog breeders work hard to produce healthy, socialized puppies, interview potential buyers, do home checks, and remain resources for buyers for the lives of those dogs.”
